It is award season in Korea and a lot of these idol groups will put on elaborate performances of their songs depending on how much time they are given in the program. I have not watched one of these since December 2003, I think. Even today, I only watched the U-Kiss performance above after it had aired. I don’t really like awards season in their case, because I don’t think their fanbase in Korea is big enough for them to win any of those big awards (while any recognition is nice, ‘most photogenic’ is not what I aspire to on their behalf).
I hope I am proven wrong though.
In any case, I think the remix itself is pretty neat and worked well with the performance. I love that they wore all black, and the slightly different take on the nanta dance during the chorus was lovely. [expert analysis concluded]
